Honey.

Cheers!
I'm finally home for good!
Being away for almost half of 2017 really made me appreciate "home".

While Barbados still absolutely has my heart, I've missed Toronto and I couldn't be happier to be home.
I took a week long vacation in Edmonton to visit some family and had the chance to catch up with some of my absolute best friends which I'm so grateful for. I couldn't have asked for a better start to 2018!

While the last #OOTD was shot in Edmonton as well, I tried to go for a bit of a different look with this outfit. Something a bit less classic and a bit more blast-from-the-past grungy.

With that being said, here's this week's #OOTD:
vintage denim jeans + leather coat + ribbed turtle-neck + sunnies // sam Edelman boots

This look was heavily inspired by my grandfather's wardrobe, believe it or not. I've always been close with my Grandpa-- close enough that he lets me raid his closet and recycle things he doesn't wear anymore. These jeans are an example of one out of many pieces I've brought back to life. The leather jacket is thanks to my mom, who was and still is of course, the coolest chick on the block. I'm obsessed with her wardrobe too.
With these pieces, I pulled together a look specifically for lounging in style. As always, comfort for me is key and I thought- "why not go simple and pull out some vintage?"

As the temperature drops, warmth is also key and my wardrobe is experiencing a #TurtleneckTakeover-- and I'm not complaining.

What are some of your staple pieces this winter?

xoxo,
