Toast

Hi Loves!

I hope you’re all doing well. The weather has been getting chillier and chillier, and it seems like Jack Frost is finally here to stay.

Gratitude has taken over as a significant theme in my life over the past little while. I recently started up my gratitude journaling again and it’s made a small, but genuine, lasting impact. It’s funny, to think how quick we are to forget how privileged we are to have the things we have. I’m not here to invalidate your struggles or make you feel like what you’re going through isn’t real- it is. It’s tough and sometimes it feels like the world is against you- but taking a moment to reflect and count your blessings hasn’t failed me yet. It not only humbles me and gives me clear vision of where I stand, but it allows me to attract much more positive, energizing spirit within myself. Like attracts like, and I’m attracting allllllll the goodness. ✨

I always want to keep it clear with yall; so I’ll be transparent and say that things have been tough lately. Adjusting to changes was never a fear of mine, but it has become more and more difficult to navigate. You may have noticed a few gaps in my activity online and this is why. I never want to mislead you folks and paint life as though it’s easy or perfect for me. I struggle, just as much as the next person. I wanted to share a bit of my resumed practice of gratitude journalling with you all in the hopes of pulling someone else out of that damn hole. If I kept it to myself- what would have been the point of going through it? To share is to spread love. So please, take all of it you can get ♥.

Hence- the title of this post being ‘toast’. Shout out to Koffee (brrrrrappp!!) who reminded us all that gratitude is a must. Yuh haffi know! 🇯🇲

Now, onto the outfit.

It’s friggin cold, like I said- yet I still felt like bearing a cold-shoulder in the name of fashun. I managed to keep warm with one of my favourite vintage coats from my mom’s wardrobe. There’s so much g o o d n e s s in there!!!
